Quantum Aspen

A cost effective rear wheel drive chair with a modular state-of-the-art design that provides improved obstacle climbing performance and an overall smoother ride.

The Aspen® also accepts the new TB Flex rehab seating and electronics.

With its stylish, sleek design and a standard speed of up to 4 mph. It’s the ideal power chair for even the most active of clients.

Crash Tested. Subject to configuration, further information available at point of order.

Power Tilt
Powered positioning options exist for the Aspen, including powered tilt and recline, while manual tilt comes as standard and attendant controlled manual recline is also available. The Aspen comes with a VR2 joystick, but can be upgraded to advanced R-Net controls or Quantum’s Q-Logic controls if desired

The Quantum Aspen makes use of the TB Flex seat to provide a configurable yet affordable entry-level chair in their Quantum range. It offers a more precise fit than the “one size fits all” approach of basic models without running to the expense of fully prescriptive powerchairs.

Seat widths of 15 – 22″ and depths of 15 – 20″ are available, and the firm seat base allows for more specialist cushions to be attached if desired. The standard tension adjustable back can be upgraded to a high-back padded one if needed, while postural supports such as laterals and headrests can be added. A choice of armrests and legrests are also available

Rear Wheel Drive
Improves outdoor performance and ride quality. The Aspen features independent rear suspension for a smoother ride, as well as chunky front castor wheels. Its compact size makes it usable indoors, although as a rear-wheel drive chair it will never match the manoeuvrability of a mid-wheel drive model. It is capable outdoors, and features a 4 mph top speed and a range of up to 15.7 miles from its 55Ah batteries

Once you’ve purchased your scooter it’s important to keep it in tip-top shape. At Batricar Mobility Centre we recommend having your scooter serviced at least once a year. That way we can detect any issue which may be present before they become a major problem and help keep your scooter running for as long as it can!

We are delighted to offer two different kinds of servicing options, to suit your needs as best as possible. Firstly, you can simply drop your electric scooter into our workshop either in New Milton or Wimborne, or we can come to your house and perform the service on-site from one of our fully stocked mobile service vehicles. The choice is yours. Our service technicians cover the whole of Dorset and Hampshire, and we have fully equipped service facilities in our workshops at both New Milton and Wimborne.

If you live in the Dorset and Hampshire area and you would like to book a service or repair, for either your mobility scooter or powerchair, or electric wheelchair, please call us on New Milton 01425 621211 or Wimborne 01202 884200.
