The active wheelchair that’s adaptable to you.
The Argon2 active wheelchair offers full adjustability without compromising on any performance. The rear seat height is adjustable in 1cm steps, so the seat angle can be constantly adapted to changing needs. With the infinitely adjustable centre of gravity, you can quickly change your driving settings to a more active or a more stable performance. The backrest angle, height and upholstery tension are also adjustable, so you’ll always find a seating position that best suits you.
Stronger and lighter than your traditional rigid wheelchair.
To create the castor-link tubes on the Argon 2, we used a process called hydra-forming. This involves heat-treating the aluminium so its strength can be increased whilst at the same time allowing the tube walls to be thinner and lighter than those of a traditional active wheelchair. The result – a lighter and stronger front frame that’s easier to manoeuver.
The ideal wheelchair for independent car transfers.
Weighing in at an ultra-lightweight 8 kg (6 kg with its quick-release wheels removed), the Argon 2 is perfect for those looking for an active wheelchair that’s easy to lift. Plus, its open-frame design ensures that there’s nothing to hinder you when transferring your wheelchair in-and-out of the car.
An exceptional energy-efficient ride.
The Argon 2’s rigid frame (with hydraformed castor-link tubes) maximises your energy efficiency by reducing any un-wanted flex in the frame – so more energy is transferred to propulsion and not lost in frame movement. Strong, sturdy and ultra-lightweight, the Argon 2 is one of the most energy-efficient rigid wheelchairs available today (and thanks to its open-frame design, one of the sleekest too!).

AFTER CARE
Once you’ve purchased your scooter it’s important to keep it in tip-top shape. At Batricar Mobility Centre we recommend having your scooter serviced at least once a year. That way we can detect any issue which may be present before they become a major problem and help keep your scooter running for as long as it can!
We are delighted to offer two different kinds of servicing options, to suit your needs as best as possible. Firstly, you can simply drop your electric scooter into our workshop either in New Milton or Wimborne, or we can come to your house and perform the service on-site from one of our fully stocked mobile service vehicles. The choice is yours. Our service technicians cover the whole of Dorset and Hampshire, and we have fully equipped service facilities in our workshops at both New Milton and Wimborne.
