Pride Mobility have recently re-launched the Colt Plus due to popular demand for an affordable and comfortable pavement scooter. Now featuring pneumatic tyres, it offers a more comfortable ride, as well as increased stability, power and range over smaller boot scooters.
The Colt Plus has a sturdy feel to it compared to small transportable scooters, which can feel a bit flimsy at times. Designed for regular daily use on pavements, the large 10 inch wheels can handle uneven ground better than the little wheels on boot scooters, and these tyres being pneumatic helps to cushion the ride, offering much improved comfort.
Typical to the Colt range, the scooter comes with an ergonomic wraparound delta tiller, allowing those with limited dexterity to control the scooter. It comes with LED lights, including a headlight, brake lights and indicators, to keep the user visible.
The Colt Plus comes with a standard with hi-visability front light in addition to directional signals so you can navigate your scooter easier.
The Colt Plus is the ideal choice for those after a sturdy mobility scooter to use on pavements, who don’t want to pay for features only required on faster road scooters.
Once you’ve purchased your scooter it’s important to keep it in good shape. At Batricar Mobility Centre we recommend having your scooter serviced at least once a year. That way we can detect any issue which may be present before they become a major problem. This will help keep your scooter running for as long as it can!

Firstly, you can simply drop your mobility scooter into our workshop either in New Milton or Wimborne. Alternatively we can come to your house and perform the service on-site from one of our fully stocked mobile service vehicles. The choice is yours. Our service technicians cover the whole of Dorset and Hampshire. We also have fully equipped service facilities in our workshops at both New Mlton and Wimborne.
