Introducing the first travel mobility scooter from ‘Pride® Travel Scooter’ range to feature ground breaking all-round suspension, the Apex Rapid with CTS Suspension (Comfort-Trac Suspension) delivers luxury and convenient features like a wraparound delta tiller with a high level charging port, LED kerb light and a storage basket together with a compact, easy to transport design. Sleek styling complements the Apex Rapid’s abundant features making it an exceptional travel mobility choice.
The Apex Rapid is a groundbreaking boot scooter that was the first in its class to come with front and rear suspension to ensure the comfort of the user – a feature not previously found on any other boot scooters. This gives it a much smoother ride over the bumpy pavements that are often encountered. The Apex Rapid remains extremely compact and lightweight, allowing it to be easily disassembled to fit in the back of a car for transport.
The standout feature on the Apex Rapid is its advanced Comfort-Trac Suspension found on both the front and rear axles. While other boot scooters have little protection against bumps in pavements, the suspension on the Apex Rapid cushions the ride for the driver, giving smooth performance. This puts it above even some larger pavement scooters in terms of the comfort it can offer the user.
The battery can be charged on or off board, allowing the scooter to be stored in a garage, shed or car if needs be. The Apex Rapid comes with 17Ah batteries as standard for a longer range. However, smaller 12Ah batteries are available if required for a slight cost reduction. We would only recommend getting the smaller batteries if the scooter is being driven shorter distances, and the person who will be dismantling it finds the 17Ah battery box too heavy.
Other luxury features include ergonomic delta handlebars, and sleek styling available in your choice of red, blue as standard, or yellow, orange, pink and black for a small additional cost. The rotating seat offers a large weight capacity of 21.4 stone, allowing it to comfortably carry most users. The Apex Rapid comes with a decent ground clearance of 1.5 inches at the motor itself, rather than just at the mid-frame. An LED kerb light helps keep the scooter visible when necessary.
Delta Tiller Control System
The easy to use delta tiller control system, which comes a standard with the Apex Rapid, is quick and easy to use and allows simple control that suits your needs.

The Apex Rapid has Front and Rear Suspension. Allowing for a smoother more enjoyable journey.

Once you’ve purchased your scooter it’s important to keep it in tip-top shape. At Batricar Mobility Centre we recommend having your scooter serviced at least once a year. That way we can detect any issue which may be present before they become a major problem and help keep your scooter running for as long as it can!
We are delighted to offer two different kinds of servicing options, to suit your needs as best as possible. Firstly, you can simply drop your electric scooter into our workshop either in New Milton or Wimborne, or we can come to your house and perform the service on-site from one of our fully stocked mobile service vehicles. The choice is yours. Our service technicians cover the whole of Dorset and Hampshire, and we have fully equipped service facilities in our workshops at both New Milton and Wimborne.
If you live in the Dorset and Hampshire area and you would like to book a service or repair, for either your mobility scooter or powerchair, or electric wheelchair, please call us on New Milton 01425 621211 or Wimborne 01202 884200.
