The idea behind the design of the Q-Back is to allow for seamless integration of the ADI back support line to the Quantum TB3 Power Positioning System. This combination will grant the consumer an array of back support height, width, depth and profile options for their multifunctional Quantum TB3 System, resulting in a highly sophisticated seating package.

The new Q-Back includes a high quality Lycra cover to complement the anti-shear features of the TB3 system, as well as offering water resistance and breathability.

The hole pattern on the Q-Back is designed for ease of installation to the TB3 back plate as well as offering height adjustability

in .5” increments equaling a total of 3.5” of height adjustment.

Additional slots have been included on the Q-Back to allow for integration of Stealth laterals and positioning straps.

Combining the high skin protection qualities of the JAY J2 wheelchair cushion with the stability and positioning capability of the J3, the JAY Balance wheelchair cushion adds exceptional comfort to ensure that there are no compromises.

The size and shape of the JAY Balance’s well or Pelvic Loading Area (PLA) is based on anthropometric measurements of average pelvic bone width to ensure maximum stability. The rear and steeper front well walls have been designed to prevent fluid migration and keep the fluid where it is needed. The new pelvic obliquity pads (optional) also add the possibility to accommodate a pelvic obliquity.

Increased skin protection for active wheelchair users.
The JAY Xtreme Active is a lightweight and low profile wheelchair cushion for active performance and easy transfers. Designed to provide both pressure relief and stability to active users, the JAY fluid pad insert maximises skin protection and reduces shear on the active user. The dual cover system promotes air flow and dissipates heat and moisture effectively. Thigh positioning can be achieved through retrofittable leg support components.

Available with the standard base, the standard fluid pad gives a moderate-to-high level of pressure redistribution. Alternatively, the large fluid pad has a higher amount of fluid for greater immersion and pressure re-distribution of prominent bony areas of the pelvis and hips. It’s designed for wheelchair users with advanced muscle atrophy who require more fluid but don’t want a heavier, high-profile cushion. It comes with a base with a larger pelvic loading area.
